Management & Administration

Chris Stoney is the driving force of Minto Pastoral. He is a man with a huge passion for the mountains and their related cultures, and is prepared to fight to retain it.  Chris is a third generation Cattleman, his father Graeme and both his grandfathers, having run cattle in the mountains. Chris knows the High Country better than most, each year spending a few weeks chasing brumbies around the areas he doesn't know, to learn a bit more of the map.  Fifth generation in the Mansfield district, Chris knows the country well and is well know in the community.  His huge personality and raucous laugh are legendary and he is a well loved and respected character in farming, tourism and media circles.

Kim is Minto Pastoral's Business Manager and looks after the cogs of the operation behind the scenes.  From the business aspects of budgets & cash flows, tenders & proposals, efficient reporting & recording systems and research projects, to the stock administration involving stock audits, analysis & forecasting and industry benchmarking.  Kim also does the "officey stuff" encompassing administration, brand, marketing & advertising, OH&S, HR “stuff”, monthly company newsletter and Chris’s favourite - dealing with bureaucrats !  Kim manages to juggle the many facets of business on the land - and Chris !

Mandy Treasure is our Finance Manager and a fabulous asset to Minto Pastoral.  With a strong background in accounting and financial management, she has taken to the role with both assertiveness and terrific capability !  Mandy has a strong affiliation with the land, having grown up on her family's cattle property on the Dargo High Plains.  Since leaving the hills, her studies and experience have led her through the corporate world both in Australia and England, and we're glad to have her settled in Mansfield, with husband Peter, and is a valuable Minto team member.
